Shadaloo vs FF

This is also a piece that I worked on with Alfredo "Fro" Plascencia! We wanted to do a cool VS shot between two of our favorite characters. We wanted to go for characters that wouldn't normally be featured in a VS piece of art or game. Enjoy!
This drawing is my part 2. It's done in my own little awkward style. I love big forearms!

Blastoise vs. Garchomp! Heaven or Hell!

These boys are gonna go at it! You have front row seats! Lightning means it's gonna be epic! WOAH!

This is a piece done collaboratively with Alfredo Plascencia! I want to link you to something with more of his work but first I gotta get the okay from him! Anyway enjoy this piece!

Little Pink Wearing Big Blue Hat

Kirby with a Blastoise hat. GAO!

The Big-Ass Blastoise Face

This is the first drawing I made using Colors 3D! Big blue turtle guy.

Thanks!

It's a bug

These are some pictures of a mosiac piece I helped make several years ago when I worked with MOCAH in Houston, TX. I actually got to design the face! I also helped place the tile and grout on this massive beast. It's an installation for a local park. Those orange holes are to help kids climb on the colorful caterpillar!

The Big Blue Turtle

Also he's got cannons! BLAAAAAAASTOOOOOOOOOOOISE!

Colored Characters

This is what the characters for that project ended up looking like. I really really enjoyed working on this because I was allowed to create this new world with new rules and creatures from scratch. I really like making whole new worlds for these characters to live and breathe in. Granted, I am definitely more interested in the characters and how they interact with each other over creating the backgrounds (my weakness). Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

About a Bout

King K. Rool is one of my favorite villains in the history of video games. He's just so out there. He don't give a sh-"Shut yo' mouf!" I'm just talking 'bout King K. Rool!

He's gonna fight a leg. No wait two of them.

Mario's Power-ups!

This dude can do it all! At the same time? SURE WHY NOT? These are some of my favorite power-ups all rolled into one Mario. By the way all of these digital paintings have come from Colors 3D on my 3DS.

Leo.

Hold up yo' piece after protectin' the streets. REP THAT KATANA LEO.

Donny

Donatello does machines then poses with his stick.

The Thing is Big, Orange, and Clobberin'!

Part of this post-a-palooza is Mr. Ben Grimm. This guy is my favorite comic book character ever. Expect more art of him!

Thanks!

Demo Reel

Check out my storyboard demo reel thing! It's a thing. Yay.

NOTE: I'm actually in Sylmar, CA now. I'm not currently located in Houston, TX.

Sketches of a Project

These are some drawings from a project I had a while back at school. We were given the task of creating an original IP using only a fairy tale. I chose the Ugly Duckling. My story was about a kid named Billy born into a family of scientists only to find that he doesn't really belong. The people in the world are born with characteristics that suit them for their jobs. Billy's family all look relatively similar as they are all scientists. Billy, however, finds that he just wasn't "built" for something like that. He goes on a journey to discover where he really belongs (Turns out he's built for farming!)
Anyway these are some initial sketches I made for some of the main characters that would be in my story. I also included a color study of what kinds of colors would be found through-out the story.

Thank you.

MEEE

This is a portrait of myself. Props to Colors 3D!

New Blog Post with a "New" Drawing!

Mario in all his colorful glory! This was done using Colors 3D on my 3DS!!
