We race in my head

E3 started today! Unfortunately Nintendo's conference isn't until tomorrow in the morning! I have to work while it is on too! AGH! I hate it... I gotta make that money so that I can get those games that will be revealed though... It's a vicious cycle. Oh well. I wonder if I will be posting tomorrow considering I'll be wanting to catch up on all my Nintendo news as soon as I get home. We'll see peoples!

Also about this past Saturday... Yeah I got really freakin' busy and had very little time to try out my little experiment... I guess we'll just have to wait 'til NEXT Saturday... I can't wait!

That guy reminded me of John Goodman so... That's cool.

Today was a pretty good day. I didn't go in to my first job so I was pretty well rested for the Texans Together job. We were put in pairs today and I worked with one of the people I am not that familiar. It was cool getting to know someone knew and it helped make the job a little more enjoyable. I'm glad that people actually started answering doors and doing the surveys. It felt pretty cool.

Tomorrow starts the weekend! I don't think I'm gonna continue doing these blogsies during the weekend. I think I WILL try something brand new tomorrow so you may wanna keep an eye out here!

I almost fell down a spiral staricase.

I only went to one job today. The other one canceled so I got no hours for that one. Oh well. I don't mind. Tomorrow is when we actually start to go door-to-door. I'm actually not nervous. I like that. I feel totally ready to face all the crazy people we'll run into out there in the real world. Should be a hilarious day tomorrow. That's all I have for today.

Umm... Yeah. I gotta go...

So today was a boring day. Nothing extra special happened or anything. It kinda felt like the day was just there. Actually if I had anything to say about today, I'd say that this is what most of my work days will feel like. I'm sure as soon as the projects that I am working on start picking up in pace, the days won't feel so uneventful. I don't even know what else to write on here. How did I keep up with this blog at least once a day earlier? Interesting. I honestly don't have anything else to talk about. Hmm. Oh well.

I guess I could bring this one little thing up... I want to know what I should do with my face hair.

'Stacheless
Just a mustache
Beardy Beard

I don't know which to go for. I was also thinking about having a little goatee but I think that's just a little too douchey... Hmm. Oh well. Let me know what you think.

"We make time for you"

Holy son of a gun.

I haven't done one of these in a long long while. It says here that the last one I posted was on November... And now it's June. Oh well. People get busy, you know?

Anyway, I am here to let you know about how my busy day was.

I HAVE TWO JOBS THIS SUMMER.

Well... Maybe I am jumping ahead just a little bit. I have one job completely confirmed and the other is still just a little bit in the air. I'll talk about the first one I bagged then go on to the one I might also have.

So I have been looking for work ever since I got here. Sending in applications and filling out forms online was all you would find me doing here in Houston. Man was it boring. Especially since none of them worked out. Well... That's a bit of a fib. One call was answered but as soon as I said that I would be going back to school in August the interviewed ended as quickly as it began. I had almost given up on finding a new job. Then I got a call from Auddie. She found out about a job canvasing around the Baytown area. They hired her and then she gave them my name. I got the position pretty quickly. The job is to go door to door and inform the people that live there that there is a very serious and dangerous toxin that is in the river. We need to get as much information from these people so that we can relay that information back to the group that is working on cleaning the river. I am actually looking forward to this. We'll get to meet new people and learn more about the environment. I can't wait!

This second job is one that I have more experience with. It's actually something that I did 2 years ago. During my twelfth (that word is spelled awfully) grade year back at YES, I had a service project that I had to do in order to graduate. It involved working with an organization that made tile murals that would go up all around the Houston area. I have already worked on and completed about 3 pieces of works that can be found Here (Buckboard Park), Here (Millenium Greenway Apartments), and Here (Greenspoint Dr. Bridge). I am really looking forward to working with this group again and I hope to make some more amazing pieces of work that are going to be put up all over the city of Houston. Now the reason I say that this job isn't so sure is because all I did today was fill out the application. I am not 100% that I will be working back there but I really hope I do. I did however work today so maybe that helps put a nail in it.

Alright well then... Now that you know about the things that will be occupying me this summer.

I didn't want to "update" you all with this post. It feels like you can just follow me on Facebook and get caught up with me from there. Also I'm a bit boring. Blergh. I wanted to also add a sketch on here but I didn't get to scan it in... Oh well. I'll do it next time! Maybe not next post... But... Next time!

Keep an eye out for another one tomorrow! I hope I can keep up with this one more time!
