Sorry About Not Posting Yesterday...

I was just so damn depressed...
I'm not gonna have a job when I get out of college. I just know it.

Here are the links that explain why:

Chowder might be done for.

Cartoon Network's schedule for 2009.

An article that scares me into tears.

Just read those and you'll see why I'm so scared. You'll see why I just want to give up. Goodness. I just don't know anymore.

So I've decided....

I'm not going to pick up any comics over the summer. I like my shop here in California so much I just can't pass up that 20% discount for 3 months! Also this means that I will just have a lot more to read when I get back here! I love to read so I can't really complain. I'll also be saving money and who doesn't want that? Plus getting a break from it won't be so bad! Sorry Marvel... I'll be back in August!

That's all!
Thanks for reading! PEACE!!!

Nintendo News... and more...

Well the conference was today. For all of the updates that happened as they happened, check out this link. <-RIGHT THERE! Over all I thought it was pretty awesome. No big games that I would go gaga for but at least a new Zelda game was announced. I'm always happy when those come out because that means Nintendo still knows what they are doing. If you didn't understand some parts of what was in that link, feel free to ask me on here or wherever! I'll answer to the best of my abilities.

Now for the more... June Solicits! Yay! Marvel unveiled their solicits for June yesterday and I gotta admit... They look good! What I'm most looking forward to is Captain America # 600 and the upcoming Fallen Son story arc in Amazing Spider-Man.

I really hope the upcoming Captain America will be as epic as Thor # 600. I mean I was BLOWN away with that issue of Thor! It was amazing!

With Norman running the entire show, I'm happy to finally see what Spider-Man's reaction will be. I'm pretty sure it will be very epic. Let's keep masks on this time though, people!

Well that's it tonight!

Nintendo is King.

Always has been and always will be! Don't believe me? Just check out this link here.

You just can't mess with them! <-CLICK HERE.

And don't forget to read the link inside this link to the actual news story. I'm gonna be posting my Nintendo news mostly from GoNintendo but they get their news from other sites so don't forget to check out the actual news and not just what this site says. Consider GoNintendo a blog from which I get my news.

That's all I want to say tonight... This REALLY caught my attention today and I hope it'll amaze you as much as it amazed me!! Tomorrow, Nintendo's President, Satoru Iwata, will be giving a speech over at the Game Developer's Conference tomorrow and most of us Nintendo Fan-boys are pretty excited about what he is gonna say. Nintendo is pretty notable for their ability of keeping things secret until they are ready to announce something. This means nobody really knows what Satoru Iwata is gonna say tomorrow! It'll be a surprise to everyone! (Except, of course, to those that work at Nintendo.) Get ready for some more Nintendo news tomorrow!!

Thanks for reading! PEACE!!!

Platinum!

I got Pokémon Platinum! YAY! The latest version of Pokémon is out and I snatched it up as SOON as it hit the streets! I must say... Even though it's pretty much the same as most of the other installations, it's definitely the best one so far. The battle dynamic is a lot smoother, the diversity of which Pokémon you can catch and use is very nice, and the replay ability is definitely there in full force!

Platinum's story basically plays out just like Diamond and Pearl's story with just a few tweaks. The most appealing new feature in this version is the addition is the battle frontier. This is a place where trainers can really step up and test their true strength and abilities. I REALLY want to try my best and become a strong trainer instead of just a collector. Hopefully I'll conquer the Battle Frontier in here!

That's pretty much all I have to say tonight because I want to get back to playing my game!

Thursday. New Office.

It was pretty hilarious. I was laughing through-out it. The guys down at The Office do a great job on every episode they pull out. Also, there was a surprise ending that may change the whole course of the show! It is, obviously, also one of my favorite shows of all time.

There it is again... "One of my favorite shows." I always seem to say that. I got to thinking... What really ARE my favorite shows? How would I be able to tell that is my favorite show? What makes them so special? What can signify that they are in fact my favorite show?

Then I got it. A show is truly my favorite show if I would actually buy it's season's DVDs. That's when I did a mind journey... What shows do I LOVE enough to buy their DVDs too? Here's what I came up with:

  • The Office - It absolutely SLAYS me! There hasn't been an episode I hadn't laughed at. The casting on it is simply magic. I think that's one of it's strongest points.
  • Scrubs - It's found a special place in my heart. I simply cannot get enough of J.D., Turk, Carla, Cox, Kelso, Janitor and Elliot. It makes me VERY depressed that they are on their last season.
  • South Park - It's simple animation is more than enough to convey a compelling story and keep the comedy coming at full force. Definitely an American classic.
  • Futurama - The awkward sibling of the Simpsons that Matt Groening dropped out into the world proved itself to be just as, if not more, hilarious as it's older brother always supplies me the laughs. It's my sense of humor and really enjoy it every time it's on.
  • Pokémon - What can I say about this show? It's been there for me for 10 years. I can always count on it being there for me when life was too much for me. Yes. Even 10 years ago I had the mind of an old man and needed to escape this real world by watching a bunch of kinds capturing creatures and have them battle each other. LEAVE ME ALONE!
  • Looney Tunes - THE REASON I GOT INTO ANIMATION. 'NUFF SAID.
Well there you have it. These are truly my favorite programs on television that I love SO much, I would get all their seasons on DVD. AGH! Now I want to go on eBay and snatch them all up! Sigh... One can dream though... One can dream... So far I only have the first season of Futurama, all the seasons of Scrubs, and the second season of The Office. Gotta keep an eye out for the rest!

Once again... Thanks for reading! PEACE!!!

Wednesday. That Can Only Mean One Thing!!

A Brand New Scrubs and a Brand New South Park!

I'm in heaven! First off I'll talk about the Scrubs Episode.

It's titled "My Nah Nah Nah". The episodes name comes from the opening sound effect from the intro to Sports Center. It starts with J.D. and Turk watching an episode and it eventually helps with a problem Turk is having later on with a patient. I don't want to give away ALL of the episode but I will say it was awesome. It was the kind of episode that reminds me why I love Scrubs. It combines drama and comedy in such a fantastic way it boggles me that it has never won an Emmy or anything! This show deserves that AND MORE! Goodness I love Scrubs.

Later on in the night, a new South Park came on titled "The Coon". Fear not though. It's not the bad way that word is used. Coon is simply Cartman's super hero name. That should be enough info for you to figure out that this episode is AWESOME! It's all basically a parody on "The Dark Knight". The boys at South Park did a GREAT job of parodying the movie in a hilarious way. South Park is also one of my favorite shows of all time!!

So in general, I did nothing today but watch new episodes of my two of my favorite shows.

P.S. Image is from here.
